Earth Hour

WWF's annual Earth Hour is on Saturday 31st March this year. They're asking us to sign up to the campaign here and switch off the lights for an hour at 8.30 pm.

The Great Personal Transport Debate

• Future oil supply and pricing – John Rogerson, Fuels Advisor, BP Global Fuels Technology
• Future internal combustion engine cars – Cedric Rouaud, Chief Engineer, Engines, Ricardo
• Hybrid cars – Jon Hilton, Flybrid Systems
• Electric cars and recharging infrastructure – Prof Phil Blythe, Newcastle University
• Road Pricing and Future Roads Infrastructure – Prof Stephen Glaister, Imperial College

The evening will be chaired by John Wood - IMechE Immediate Past President, and former Managing Director of MIRA.
